Boca Raton Sports Performance Rehab
You're Not Looking for Generic PT
You’re looking for someone who understands what it means to stay competitive, active, and capable — even as life tries to slow you down.
We work with:
- Tennis players dealing with shoulder, elbow, or back issues
- Runners with knee pain, hip problems, or chronic tightness
- CrossFitters and lifters who want to train through injuries (not sit on the sidelines)
- Golfers who can't finish a round without pain
- Pickleball players, weekend warriors, and anyone who refuses to be told "just rest"
You've probably:
- Tried traditional PT before and wanted more
- Been told to stop training (unacceptable)
- Dealt with recurring injuries that keep coming back
- Felt like you're stuck in a cycle of pain → rest → attempt sport → pain again
You want:
- A clear plan with milestones
- To train around your injury, not stop completely
- To understand WHY this happened and how to prevent it
- To work with someone who takes you seriously
If that sounds like you — welcome. You’re in the right place.

The Peak Durability System
Our 4-phase path from pain to injury-resistant performance.
Phase 1
Identify
(Evaluation)
Phase 2
Alleviate
(Healing)
Phase 3
Transform
(Performance)
Phase 4
Prevent
(Longevity)
Phase 1
Identify
- We start by really getting to know you — your story, your goals, what matters most.
- We'll go through a detailed full body assessment to gain a clear understanding of your condition.
- We'll figure out what's actually causing your pain and holding you back, so there's no guesswork.
- This will help you understand which treatments you need and give you clarity on your path forward.
Phase 2
Alleviate
- We quickly reduce your pain and repair the core issue causing your symptoms.
- You'll start moving regularly, doing daily activities without wincing, and feeling like a human again.
- You'll receive expert guidance at every session and start building a foundation of strength and mobility.
- This is where traditional PT stops!
Phase 3
Transform
- Now the real work begins. It's time to level up.
- Unlike the other places, we're not just going to get you back to baseline — we're going to build you up stronger than before. This is your transformation phase.
- We'll systematically build strength, get you more flexible, more fit, and take your body to a new standard.
- Our goal? Have you walk out of here better, stronger, and more capable than you were before the injury.
Phase 4
Prevent
- For those who want to stay in peak condition, this is your ongoing tune-up lifestyle.
- Bi-weekly or monthly check-ins to catch small issues before they become problems.
- You become proactive with your care, maximize your health, and invest in your longevity.
- Ongoing support so you move optimally, stay durable, and remain pain-free for the long haul.
When I came to Dr. Vlad at Physical Therapy Doc, he took a different approach. Instead of just treating the hamstring, he checked my whole body and found that it might actually be coming from my back. So I got an MRI and it showed exactly that. I was amazed that he was able to discover that, after it's been so long for me. He explained that most people with that kind of injury, end up having to get surgery. Since I didn’t want to surgery, we went the conservative route. It took time, but we got there.
Now I’m back playing college tennis and feeling good! I love what he does and now I come in for tune-ups to keep my body moving right. I like how Vlad actually explains things, pays attention, and makes the sessions feel productive instead of repetitive. It’s a chill environment but super professional, and it’s helped me stay healthy through my first college season.
If you're in Boca Raton, you want real attention, and you for real want to solve your problems and make your body durable, I highly recommend physical therapist Dr. Vlad.
Then I started seeing Dr. Vlad at Physical Therapy Doc, and it was completely different. He noticed right away how much smaller my injured leg was. Nobody else caught that. And he explained why my knee was still bothering me. From day one the workouts were more advanced and actually felt like training, not rehab. We started rebuilding strength using BFR training, heavier lifts, and soccer-specific drills that actually made sense for what I needed.
The setup feels like a real sports facility. Turf, weights, everything. And Vlad pays attention to every rep. Everything we did felt on point for soccer. you can tell he knows the sport. My knee feels solid now and I’m back out there for my senior year tryouts, something I didn't think would happen this soon.
If you’re an athlete trying to come back right, this is the spot.

"I play tennis at a high level and compete regularly, so when I tore my hamstring, I needed a physical therapist who really understood my needs. Dr. Vlad at Physical Therapy Doc in Boca Raton exceeded all my expectations.
He didn’t just follow a standard treatment protocol—he listened to my concerns, especially regarding an important upcoming tournament, and developed a plan that allowed me to heal and still compete. His careful consideration of the risks and rewards meant I was able to return to the court confidently and on schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Vlad for anyone serious about their sport."

"You'll never go to a "normal" PT again. Vlad is incredible. I went in for a torn meniscus in my knee, but also mentioned that I'd been having chronic elbow issues. Because there is no insurance red tape, he instantly incorporated treatment for the elbow. Now, 3 months later, my knee is better than before the injury and my elbow is nearly 100%.
I'll never go to a "normal" PT again. Normal PTs simply check boxes, give you a few minutes of time during your sessions, and don't really care.
I've had many injuries, and seen a lot of PTs. And I'm floored by the difference between him and everyone else."
Boca Raton Physical Therapy Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
What types of clients do you work with?
We help athletes and active adults recover from injuries, improve performance, and move with confidence — whether you’re training for competition or simply want to stay strong for life.
What makes Physical Therapy Doc different from other PT clinics?
We focus on performance, not just pain. Every session is one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who understands athletic movement, strength, and longevity. We bridge the gap between rehab and training — so you don’t just get better, you get better prepared.
Do I need a prescription or referral to start PT?
No referral is needed in Florida. You have direct access to physical therapy, which means you can book an appointment without seeing a doctor first. This makes it easier to get started quickly and begin your recovery without delay.
What should I expect during my first visit?
You’ll get a full movement assessment, hands-on treatment, and a clear plan for what’s next. Sessions are typically 60-75 minutes. Wear comfortable athletic clothing you can move in, and bring any recent imaging reports (X-rays, MRI, ultrasound) if you have them. You’ll leave knowing exactly what’s going on and how we’ll fix it together.
Can I keep training while doing PT?
Absolutely. We’ll design your plan so you keep moving safely while addressing what’s holding you back. Most athletes continue training through rehab with guided modifications. The goal is to keep you active and progressing toward your performance goals, not stuck on the sidelines.
Where are you located?
We’re located in West Boca at 10018 Spanish Isles Blvd, Suite A52, Boca Raton, FL 33498. It’s right off of 441, between Clint Moore and Yamato — easy access from Boca, Delray, and Boynton.
How do I book a visit or consultation?
You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation online or by phone to review your goals, explain your options, and map out a game plan for recovery or performance. We’ll discuss your injury, answer any questions, and determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.
